Ammamas latest Ready to Cook  product is the evergreen parota. This is made by kneading maida flour, oil and water. The dough is beaten into thin layers and later made to form a round spiral. This is then rolled into a ball using these thin layers. The ball is rolled flat and semi-cooked.  All you need to do is heat a tawa and place a parota on it. Cook the parota for a minute on each side. Then apply oil/ghee on each side of the parota and cook for a couple of minutes more, on medium flame. When the parota is golden brown, remove from the tawa. Fluff up the parota by gently tapping the sides of the parota (like clapping hands with the parota in the middle). And there you are!

Serving suggestion: A slightly spicy vegetarian or non-vegetarian curry goes well with parotas. Use Ammamas Parotas to show off your culinary skills by making kothuparotta with it.
