At ammamas, we are obsessed with providing our customers, with the very best. All our flour (atta) is from 100% pure Sharbati wheat which is sweeter in taste and better in texture.

The regions in Madhya Pradesh where the wheat for your chapatis is grown, is rainwater irrigated. The soil for Sharbati wheat is high in potash content and low in humidity. Just these two facts alone, increases the protein content of the wheat by almost 2%, when compared to regular wheat atta. Additionally, the Sharbati wheat does not require pesticides, as it is very hardy. Being a crop from a drought-stricken region, Sharbati wheat grains have a lesser water content in them. Making the dough from the Sharbati atta requires more water, which in turn makes ammamas chapatis and pooris, softer and fluffier. All of this results in better health and taste for you!
